Be@rbrick is more than a collectible – it is a global cultural phenomenon that moves seamlessly between art, fashion, and popular culture.
Since its launch by Medicom Toy in 2001, Be@rbrick has become an icon of contemporary art, with the figure’s simple bear shape serving as a canvas for collaborations with some of the world’s most influential artists, designers, and brands.

Each Be@rbrick is a miniature artwork, often released in limited editions that quickly become highly sought-after collectibles. Through collaborations ranging from streetwear giants like Nike and Supreme to artists such as KAWS and the Andy Warhol Foundation, Be@rbrick has established itself as a bridge between collector culture and contemporary art.

At Mankovsky Gallery, we see Be@rbrick as a natural part of our curated selection – objects that capture the spirit of the times and demonstrate how art can take shape in unexpected ways.

Banfa Jawla

Banfa Jawla is a 27 year old photographer from Stockholm, Sweden. In his acclaimed photo series "Katim" he explores the thin line between being a child and an adult in an environment were children often times have to work. Banfa follows the then 12- year old boy Katim in his everyday life when working at a car repair shop 9 hours a day, 6 days a week as well as capturing the times when he allows himself to be a child. With this exhibition Banfa shines a light on the uncomfortable truth for 152 million children world wide. Every artwork sold is in collaboration with Swedish charity organization Project Playground and the proceeds go to their tireless work of helping children and young adults through their centers in Stockholm and Cape Town.
